Customer Description: This customer provides high-performance networking & cybersecurity solutions to service providers, enterprise companies & public sector organizations. They are a global organization with over 10,000 employees headquartered in California.

Customer Need: We first engaged with the customer in late May of 2020 during their evaluation process to find a vendor to support their migration off of Genesys (on-premise system) as part of a larger project to upgrade CRMs from SAP to Salesforce Service Cloud. They also evaluated Genesys PureCloud, Five9, Talkdesk, and inContact. Knowing our strengths within Networking & Cybersecurity as well as our successful Genesys replacement projects, we felt well-positioned to compete and win this business.

Why We Won: We had countless prep calls internally with the customers team that allowed us to tailor demonstrations for IT, Business, and Telco/Network stakeholders. We also offered advanced reporting within Salesforce, Omnichannel, Einstein, and long-term flexibility to grow into the platform. Conversation Analyzer and Virtual Assistant are products of interest to them for Phase 2 and beyond. Our ability to support their global offices, specifically in India, was another key theme through the evaluation process

Customer Description: This is a medical device company headquartered in Georgia that develops and manufactures recognizable brands in more than 90 countries. They have over 2,000 employees worldwide.

Customer Need: The customer needed a unified communications solution that could connect all of its employees globally. Each location had a separate phone system without the ability to easily work remotely or collaborate.

The Solution: Vonage is providing 1,100 Unlimited Extensions including 100 world office extensions across 5 locations to start, including offices in Atlanta, GA, Tucson, AZ, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Concord, CA, and Belgium, which enables their users to leverage the Vonage softphone and mobile app to easily work from anywhere. The solution also includes migrating their Vonage Australia users to the VBC US account. Future growth includes an additional 1,000+ users in other countries as well.

Why We Won: We offered an all-in-one provider of UC and CC for Salesforce, including the ability to provide services globally

 

 

Golf Outing Recap — What a Day!

The golf gods were smiling down upon us as we ran into spectacular weather for a day on the links in mid-October. Upper 60’s and sunshine ensured that everyone had fun, no matter the final score. Six groups were able to partake in the event as well as dinner. In the end, the foursome of Mark Stackpoole (GTS), Pat O’ Keefe (O’Keefe Consulting), Scott MacMartin (Advanced Voice and Data), and Tom Mcinerney (Rocket Mortgage Classic) carded the low score. Tony Evans (Evans Consulting) had a beautiful shot to win the closest to the pin award and took home a nice Bose speaker for his efforts. Thanks again for joining us, and we are already looking forward to getting back out there next year. Country Club of Detroit did an amazing job taking care of the GTS crew!
