Ryan Hathaway, President

Ryan Hathaway has over 17 years of telecom industry experience and is a Co-Founder of Global Telecom Solutions. He is a graduate of Michigan State University as well as the University of Detroit School of Law. Ryan specializes in cost analysis and strategic telecom planning for mid-size businesses up to enterprise level clientele. In addition, Ryan assists with financial planning and organization internally for GTS.

Mark Stackpoole, Chief Executive Officer

Mark Stackpoole has now spent over 17 years in the role of chief executive officer for GTS. The company has experienced double digit year on year revenue growth since the company began all while carrying nearly zero debt — a proud accomplishment for a company in today’s business market/environment. Mark still actively participates in day-to-day client interaction as a Channel Sales Manager for GTS, supporting 30-40 VAR’s and agent partners in a sales support role. In addition, Mark has been integral in creating and growing the Partner Sales Channel, which is what makes GTS “tick.”

Bob Chernock, Channel Sales Manager

Bob Chernock joined the GTS team in 2010 with a focus on enhancing and growing the indirect sales channel. Mr. Chernock now supports well over 50 key sales partners on a day-to-day basis for all sales related functions. Prior to Global Telecom Solutions, Bob worked in a similar capacity for such firms as: ANX, First Communications, XO Communications and Cavalier Telephone.

Jamie Boedeker
Jamie Boedeker, Channel Sales Manager

Jamie Boedeker has over 15 years of telecom industry experience and is a Channel Sales Manager for Global Telecom Solutions.  Jamie is actively pursuing new partners and agents in an effort to grow the GTS Sales Channel.  When he is away from the office he enjoys spending time with his wife Marisa and their 5 children.

Kylah King has joined the GTS team and brings more than 14 years of experience in the industry. Kylah is a sales leader with expertise in the channel, account management and large-scale implementations. Kylah is bringing her passion for customer experience along with a focus on new business growth. She's spent the last decade being an advocate for her customers and partners, always available to 'roll up her sleeves' and get the job done. Kylah resides in Roswell, GA with her husband John, their son, Nolan and their three foster children Hailey, Luke & Mat (not to mention their 3 dogs). In her spare time (at the circus), her family enjoys the outdoors, working on house renovations and gardening.

Mandy Lintz, Channel Sales Manager

Mandy recently joined the GTS sales team with a focus on improving the telecom/technology experience for her clients. She brings over 20 years of sales experience and 13 years in the telecommunications industry. Prior to GTS, Mandy worked in a similar role for such firms as Comcast, Vonage and Crown Castle. Exceptional customer service is always her top priority. Mandy is a native of Michigan and now lives in Arizona with her husband Jeremey and her two children.

Brian Marody, Solution Consultant

Brian Marody joined the GTS Team in 2018 and brings 20 years of telecom industry experience with the goal of acquiring new business with a consultative, pragmatic approach. In the ever-changing industry of telecom, Brian has worked continuously to find better, more efficient ways for his clients to communicate and maximize their expenditures. Brian’s goal is to provide IT managers and directors unbiased recommendations while simplifying the vetting and buying process. This coupled with a truly committed and effective back office makes GTS a formidable team for their customers.  

Kat Thomas, Project Manager

Kat Thomas graduated with honors from Kent State University with a degree in Business Administration and Management. She has worked in Telecommunications for a total of 19 years, including six years at Global Telecom Solutions and has experience with carriers such as AT&T, CenturyLink, XO, Spectrum, Nitel, Evolve IP and more. She continues to expand her skills in the ever-changing world of voice, data and cloud services as a project manager. Her goal is to provide start to finish guidance, keeping key players involved in milestones while minimizing the volume of products and services required.  Communication, client satisfaction, timely follow through and product knowledge are among her strengths.

Monica Kopp
Monica Kopp, Project Manager

Monica Kopp brings over 10 years of customer service, project management, and sales experience to GTS. Monica assists in running back-office operations with eyes always on improvement, growth, and detail.  She loves her role as a project manager and always aims to go above and beyond to exceed the expectations of partners and clients. Assisting GTS’ CEO in marketing endeavors, Monica loves putting her Bachelor of Business Administration to work. In her spare time, you can catch Monica cracking jokes, singing along to Fleetwood Mac, and loving on her two kittens.

Jeanie Millard, Project Manager

Jeanie joined the GTS team in 2020, bringing with her several years of experience in managing both front and back office operations. With technical experience in proprietary software backed up by the spirit and drive an entrepreneur, Jeanie is dedicated to helping implement and follow company guidelines. Her versatility and professionalism help ensure client needs are met quickly and efficiently.

Colleen Charlton, Project Manager

Colleen has recently joined the GTS team, bringing with her experience in project management and a passion for improving the customer experience. Used to a fast-paced, high-tech environment, Colleen is successful in completing high volume workloads on time and correctly. Her motivation lies in driving productivity and efficiency, all while providing customers with the best-in-class service possible.

Josh Kahl
Josh Kahl, Business and Operations Analyst

Josh brings twenty years’ combined experience in the insurance, legal, and telecom fields to his role at GTS. Josh’s primary roles are business analytics and metrics, operational management with the aim of giving our business more structure and efficiency, and directing ad-hoc business projects for our leadership team. Josh holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University. In his spare time, Josh likes enjoying exotic ethnic foods and restaurants, heavy metal music, and fantasy sports.  

Lisa Hall
Lisa Hall, Project Manager

Lisa Hall joined GTS in 2019 and has over 25 years of telecom industry experience with AT&T.  She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University, and a Master in Finance from Walsh College.  Lisa is an experienced professional with a strong background in customer service, sales support, and project management.

Sam Dervic, Project Manager

Samantha Dervic has over 10 years of experience in business management and customer service. Samantha made a career change after interning for GTS in the fall of 2018 when she saw how much a smaller company can help the community and still have a close-knit family-like environment. She is now a welcomed part of the GTS family and is considered the "new kid on the block" in the telecom world. She is dedicated to learning as much as she can, making the extra time to understand processes and the products of as many carriers possible to give the best support as a project manager, all while finishing her Bachelor of Business degree! She enjoys making time to volunteer, which has led her to becoming a Guardian Ad Litem - a position close to her heart.  In her leisure time, you can find her with her two fur babies, cruising the streets, bumping "Step by Step" and other 90's hits.

Deb Rukat, Project Manager

Deb Rukat joined GTS in 2020. She has over 30 years of experience in the telecom industry, spending most of that time at AT&T supporting global clients. She thrives at cultivating relationships between clients, customers, and businesses to successfully meet critical timelines of projects. Deb has experience in sales, complex contract negotiations, team building, professional development, strategic implementation, and company collaboration. She enjoys yoga, anything outdoors and spending time with her husband Kevin and their 2 children at the lake.

Dan Koluch, Customer Service Manager

Dan joined the GTS family in October of 2018 and brings over 20 years of telecom experience to his role as GTS’ customer support manager. He has worked in many different roles with companies such as Global Crossing, Level 3 and Bullseye Telecom; specializing in network design, circuit provisioning and customer service. He has a strong knowledge of telecom products, services and technologies and is committed to serving the needs of GTS’ customers to provide a positive customer experience. While Dan’s dedication to customer satisfaction is paramount, he is also focused on internal growth through process improvement and system enhancement.

Nicole Seymour
Nicole Seymour, Executive Administrator

Nicole Seymour joined the team in 2019 and brings over 6 years of Administrative/Receptionist experience to the table. She is NOT one for coloring inside the lines and is ready to take on new challenges every day! She has worked in various positions including Fund Development Assistant, Management, and as a Marketing Coordinator. She has a strong knowledge of Social Media Marketing, Graphic Design, and Microsoft Office. In her leisure time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, going to art galleries, and spending time with her son.


Volunteerism and community outreach have always been important to Global Telecom Solutions. Our recent relocation from Detroit’s suburbs to its historic Corktown area has increased our opportunities for community involvement while more directly connecting us to Detroit’s exciting economic renewal.

Purchasing the Archdiocese of Detroit’s former print shop building gave us a unique opportunity to renovate by hosting a graffiti competition. Derek Weaver, principal of the 4731 Group, was contracted to renovate our new headquarters, which had not seen improvement in more than 30 years. Weaver's firm, which also runs the nonprofit project Grand River Creative Corridor, organized a dozen artists to give the building a vibrant, artistic makeover. More than two dozen murals found throughout the office space were created by local artists, including Sintex, FEL3000ft, TEAD, and fine artists Sydney James and Christopher Batten.

Case Study #1 One-Stop Shopping for an Enterprise Customer


A local utility provider came to GTS several years ago looking for ways to reduce the cost of its cellular, conference, internet and voice services. GTS was able to simplify its procurement process by performing the following steps on their behalf:

  • Helped identify diverse routes for connectivity.
  • Renegotiated and optimized existing agreements with two major service providers.
  • Reduced collaboration expenses by consolidating audio, web, conferencing, and SMS services.
  • Added 2 unique local ISP providers to the supplier portfolio for additional cost savings and redundancy.
  • Renegotiated an existing contract with their telecom expense management company (TEM).
  • Streamlined the quoting/ordering process and helped improve communications with carriers and vendors.

Case Study #2 Network Design — Customized to Fit


GTS created a custom solution for a client in a specialized vertical, a security company utilizing a central station. Since the company's customers rely on telecommunications for security service, GTS created a high-availability solution by doing the following:

  • Created diverse paths for connecting to each customer's building using two providers with different infrastructures.
  • If the phone lines do not work at the HQ Central Station, calls are automatically forwarded to a different destination.
  • If the security company has questions or service issues, it can use GTS as an extension of its staff to research, diagnose and fix problems.

GTS became this company's "one-stop shop," and GTS still helps this longstanding client with all of its telecom needs today, over 10 years later. In the end, GTS helped vastly improve network reliability while also reducing the company's telecom costs by more than 40 percent.

Case Study #3 Project Management — Enhance Client Staff with GTS Experts


Many large GTS clients have their own staff, but they utilize GTS experts for experience and competitive advantage.

For example, a large client that has 42 office locations in the Midwest knew it was spending too much money, but the problem appeared too complicated and too daunting to process internally. GTS was asked to develop potential solutions.

GTS recommended a bi-weekly meeting with the company’s IT staff to discuss current systems and expenditures, in order to demonstrate where GTS was able to eliminate costs from the current network spend before moving forward (i.e. disconnected phone lines, unnecessary taxes and tariffs, "rack rates," etc). Not only did the company save over $10,000 in billing expenditures in the first six months, but it also was able to use GTS at a fraction of what it would have cost to hire a full-time professional to manage the account and do a cost-based engagement. Once the savings plan was executed, GTS helped develop a Wide Area Network (WAN) so all locations were able to communicate on a private network, increasing and optimizing network speeds and performance while also adding internet redundancy at all key sites. The customer is now utilizing GTS in 2019 for a new project to research, purchase, and deploy a VOIP/UCaaS solution to all locations.
